Extremely please with our experience at Building blocks Monroe. The staff is excellent and my daughter learns so much from all types of areas, gym, class, reading, art, music, etc. super impressive.
My son has been attending Building Blocks in Monroe for just over a year now starting when he was about 4 months old. I could not be more impressed with the staff. Within 2 weeks the directors and teachers that didn’t interact with my son on a daily basis knew my son’s name and knew me. Recently I was most impressed with the individual care my son received from his teacher when he was having a rough afternoon: they gave him a quiet corner to sit in and play with a teacher. I have nothing but positive things to share about our experience with Building Blocks so far. I trust them completely with the care of my son.
We absolutely love Building Blocks!!! My son has been to 2 other daycare facilities with in the town and both pale in comparison!! The staff truly treat the families and children like family! Since switching to Building Blocks there has been a noticeable difference in my son; he is now talking way more and even learned how to jump! He had school photos taken at his old school right before he left and new ones taken at building blocks and you can see a huge difference!! You can tell he’s genuinely happy!! All the staff members are phenomenal and truly care about every child!! I would definitely recommend!!!
We enrolled our son when he was only three months old, and Building Blocks has been so important to our family. It's the perfect combination of a family oriented facility (everyone knows his name, our names, and cares deeply for him) and a highly functioning, professional place. They are EXCELLENT communicators- unbelievably responsive and show the utmost quality of care for our most important little guy.
There are always things happening at BB! From themed days, special events, to the incredible lessons the teachers put together... the kids are busy. And we get awesome pictures of all the things they're doing during the day.
It really feels like a village, and we feel truly lucky to have our son grow up there, and plan to enroll our new baby there in the fall. As a parent, you truly worry about a million things... and dropping our kid off at BB truly makes it feel like one less thing to worry about.

We love Building Blocks! My 2 year old joined in September ‘21 after going through this pandemic and not having a lot of interaction with “strangers” even though they’re close family members. He had a really hard time interacting with close family and friends. He’s come a long way at Building Blocks and absolutely loves his daycare and most of all he lights up when he talks about his teachers Ms. Joyce and Ms.Krysten. They are both very calm, happy and understanding and they truly take good care of my little one. I highly recommend Building Blocks!!

We are very happy with Building Blocks. The teachers are great. The daily communication from the online system keeps us updated about how our daughter’s day is going.
We're in our second year at Building Blocks and highly recommend it! Ms. Jissel is amazing with the kids and we love the daily photos and classroom plans that are shared with families. Years ago our oldest kids were in a different center and we are so happy with Building Blocks for our youngest. It has a warm community feel and all of the members of the staff are outstanding!
The teachers at Building Blocks are patient, kind, caring and loving. Katie and Lisa are so accommodating in working with the families of Building Blocks. My son has made so much profess since starting in April. Thank you for all that you do!
Amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindset. Its wonderful seeing our son get excited about going to daycare here. Miss Sarah & Miss Dolores really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualized way. From the moment he gets greeted to the very end of the day, they make it so much fun for him! They are both such loving individuals and my son loves them! Building Blocks is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we're thankful!
We have been sending our kids here for several years and have been very satisfied. We even tried another place that was supposed to be better but we found that we should have never left Building Blocks. Every teacher has been wonderful with our kids and the communication is excellent and parent-teacher interaction is exactly what we wanted. We also find that our kids don’t get bored and they are constantly doing new things besides being pushed to prepare for kindergarten by tracing letters and learning their numbers all day long. They plant flowers, do science experiments and yoga. We highly recommend you send your kids.
Our family's experience at Building Blocks so far has been fantastic. Our son joined the Toddler program at 2 years old and hadn't had much interaction with other kids his age. ~2 months later he's so self assured and confident! He adores his friends and teachers and for us the daily photo updates are a real highlight. The lesson plans and weekly themes are so well thought out and we credit the staff for their attention, kindness and care. We look forward to all the fun activities ahead and would recommend Building Blocks with enthusiasm to anyone we know!
Absolutely love Building Blocks Monroe! My daughter has been attending since she was 2 and I cannot say enough about the warm, loving teachers and wonderful Directors. The curriculum is amazing and the teachers use the Reggio Emilia approach to learning. It allows the children to play a role in the learning process and creates environments they just LOVE to run into every day. I am also thrilled with their emphasis on Social/Emotional learning and how they have integrated the Choose Love program into their school. They have engaging Enrichment programs that include a Gross Motor room, Music classes hosted by their Music teacher Miss Sarah and a STEAM train that visits the preschool classes so the children can take part in interactive experiments. I highly recommend Building Blocks to parents that are looking for a LOVING school where their children will thrive and be ready both socially and academically for Kindergarten.
